Astonishingly Thrifty Places to Travel to

Budget travel might seem intimidating at first, but with the right information, you can do it.
Have the time of your life while spending less than 50 Dollars a day!
The fact that 30 to 50 bucks might be all that you need for the day
can be an eye-opener! So what are you waiting for? Scroll down
and find your next destination.

1. Bulgaria

Since not many people talk about their trip to Bulgaria, it might not be on your agenda; I didn't even think about it until I did some research. Not only is it one of Europe’s best travel bargains, but it’s also bursting with history and points of interest, such as Belogradchik Fortress, which many reviewers on TripAdvisor said had insane scenery, earning it 263 five-star reviews.

2. India

They say India is dirty, full of poverty, and straight up loud! But I’m here to tell you that while some of that is true, there are many beautiful places for cheap. A whole bag of snacks can cost just 3 dollars! As a pure Indian, I can tell from the source that India can be and should be on your radar! A day in Jaisalmer can be just 20 dollars, and add an extra 5 bucks for a night's stay, coming up to a total of just 25 greenbacks! ("How much does a trip to Jaisalmer Cost?", n.d.) Although some parts of India are expensive, like Mumbai(great place by the way, you should check it out along with Chennai), some will fit right in your budget. For example, the northern desert region of Rajasthan and the great tropical state of Kerala in the south. I also recommend the backwaters in Alleppey.
Make sure you get the street food!

3. Indonesia

Indonesia is highly known for being expensive, but it isn't, except for Bali that is. Indonesia is a very beautiful place, and practically everywhere except Bali is not that expensive so if you weren't thinking about Indonesia, you should! Indonesia is very cheap compared to many western countries and the only main cost is alcohol. Combined with its beautiful beaches and wonderful people, Indonesia is a great place to visit and enjoy for people on a budget

4. Philippines

Some of the best beaches in Southeast Asia, thanks to 6,000 + islands, are home to the Philippines. Besides having perfect beaches, the Philippines also has enchanting rice terraces and volcanoes, and jungle treks!
If you are looking for a beach and island feel, make sure to stop at the island of Palawan for at least a week

5. Thailand

The famous tourist-friendly Thailand is our final stop on this article. It's mainly known for its beaches, which can be good value if you know where to go. If you want budget travel heaven, then I would recommend going to the Chiang Mai region. Along the many rice fields and temples, you can find some of the best and cheapest accommodations, which works out for anyone, for example, a backpacker who's looking for a cheap dorm bed or a frequent traveler who is looking for a nice hotel with a pool. The backpacker dorm bed can be anywhere from $6 a night, and the quality hotel can be anywhere from $35, which is cheap compared to many Western countries.
