If you don’t know what WWE is, it stands for World Wide Entertainment. Back then, it was WWF, World Wide Federation. It is where wrestlers fight, brawl, and win championships. This is a scripted show, which means everything is planned beforehand. There are a lot of wrestlers who made the industry what it is today, like Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, John Cena, and many more superstars.
Hulk Hogan
On August 11th, 1953, a legend was born, Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan is to pro wrestling as Lebron James is to basketball. Some people got famous through wrestling, and some people made wrestling famous, and Hulk Hogan is definitely one of them. He has won 6 championships throughout his wrestling career. He won the Royal Rumble in 1990 and in 1991. He won the Tag Team championships one time with a wrestler named Edge, also known as the Rated-R Superstar. He was the first person to help take the business from small arenas to stadiums. The Hulkster has been in 13 Wrestlemania appearances, which is WWE’s Super Bowl. John Cena is the only superstar to hold 17 Championships in his entire career in the WWE. That is a massive accomplishment that no one else has done. His most recent championship he won was the Undisputed WWE championship after beating Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 41. He is one of the people who made wrestling famous, and he still will. He is retiring in December of 2025, and the crowd will for sure miss him. He will never be forgotten in the Wrestling community. Cena will only further use his immense power to help the business more than anyone has before him or after him.
The Undertaker
The Undertaker has been considered the heart and soul of the WWE for the past two decades. He has been in 27 Wrestlemanias, and he is most known for his streak.
